The most important thing about me is that I'm a Christian. I was saved when I was 6 years old. Psalms is my absolute favorite book in the Bible. I have to make myself read other books because I love the Psalms so much. Some of my favorites are Psalm 51, 90, 91, 92, 93 and 94.As told by my picture, I'm very much a farm girl. I've loved horses since age 2 and finally at 14, convinced my parents to get one. We now have two: a Tennessee Walker/Racking Horse mare and Hackney/Shetland gelding. Both are awesome and like my babies. I love almost all other animals (excluding spiders and snakes). Turkeys are my new "obsession" (other than horses obviously).
I'm also a writer--always have been, really. I used to get in trouble for writing short stories when I was supposed to be doing my math lessons. When I was thirteen, Mom got me a curriculum called One Year Adventure Novel (a.k.a OYAN) and I've been writing seriously ever since. With OYAN, I've finished four novels and have several others in the works. I am on staff with a Christian e-mag called Kingdom Pen, a free resource for encouraging young writers to use their talents for Christ. Sometime in the future, I'd love to start an online Creative Writing school for homeschool students.
Something else you should know about me: I love words. Someday, I want to have a huge wall just covered in my favorite words. I love the pictures that words paint and their meanings. Words like "hope", "Rivendell", "write", "love", "family"...I could go on and on.
